Amy Eriksson of Hello Counselling Services is proud to announce the opening of her third location, where her team is now accepting new clients.
Port Hope, ON – Peterborough is now the new home for Hello Counselling Services’ third location and is open to new clients. There are currently four therapists working out of the new office in Peterborough, each bringing their own expertise, such as gender and sexuality journey support, couples counselling, addictions and trauma.
Amy Eriksson, founder and clinical director, is a seasoned social worker with over 20 years of experience in hospital, community, and crisis work. What began in a single room in Eriksson’s home has now grown into a thriving mental health practice with three locations—Port Hope, Trenton, and now Peterborough.

Founded with a simple yet powerful vision, to offer compassionate mental health care that feels like home, Hello Counselling Services has become known across Port Hope, Trenton, and soon Peterborough for its warm, personalized approach. Hello Counselling Services, is guided by years of insight, care, and real-world experience with a staff of 18, not including Paisley, the resident golden retriever.
Eriksson’s team of social workers, registered nurses, and psychotherapists combines wide-ranging specialities with decades of proven success. Hello Counselling Services offers sessions virtually and in-person and is available for children, youth, adults, seniors, as well as couples and families experiencing challenges related to trauma, addiction, grief, depression, anxiety, and much more. Hello Counselling Services also works closely with first responder services, other community organizations, and has a close partnership with the Canadian Air Force in Trenton.
