How can I best prepare for therapy?
Is therapy covered by insurance?

Do you offer therapy to people of all ages?
What can I expect in my first counselling session?
For your first session, you can expect rapport building and a discussion of what brought you to see us. We value a holistic approach, as we want to know who you are and feel it is also essential for you to learn about your therapist’s style. Gathering this information during your first session will pave the path to your best treatment.
What is the difference between a Social Worker and a Registered Psychotherapist?
The difference between an MSW/RSW and an RP is the regulatory body that the therapist belongs to. Our staff with an MSW/RSW designation all have a Masters degree in Social Work and are registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Our staff with the RP designation all have Masters degrees (in counselling, psychology, sociology) and are registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists. Having clinicians registered with these regulatory bodies adds another level of protection for our clients to ensure the highest level of care.
